Due to the President’s Executive Order on Reevaluating and Realigning United States Foreign Aid, the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) directed Refugee Welcome Collective to immediately suspend work as of January 24, 2025. The guide contains the newcomer’s home address, sponsor contact, and areas for other community contacts. Newcomers can access the numbers for 911 and a crisis lifeline. The guide also connects newcomers to key resources such as Cultural Orientation, an Overview of the Sponsorship Journey, and a 5 Tips for Newcomers Working with Sponsors video.
