Missouri Office of Refugee Administration (MO-ORA)

MO-ORA supports the well-being and inclusion of refugees by coordinating and resourcing resettlement programs statewide. By administering federal funds to and collaborating with local resettlement agencies, MO-ORA ensures that the populations served by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) have access to necessary resources and guidance. Various components of resettlement programs overseen by MO-ORA include Youth Mentoring, Refugee School Impact, Refugee Support Services, Refugee Cash Assistance, and more.

U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI)

As the medical replacement designee in Missouri, USCRI collaborates with local resettlement agencies and federally qualified health centers to coordinate the Refugee Medical Screening (RMS) program and the Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA) program. The medical screening ensures that all resettled refugees receive a comprehensive medical examination after their arrival, while the medical assistance program provides up to 12 months of healthcare coverage for those who are ineligible for Medicaid.

The International Institute of St. Louis (IISTL)

The International Institute of St. Louis has served immigrants and refugees in the St. Louis region for more than 100 years, and it has become the first organization in Missouri to be approved by the Community Sponsorship Hub as a Private Sponsorship Organization (PSO). Drawing on its extensive history of service, IISTL will take on the role of supporting and guiding Private Sponsorship Groups (PSG) in their efforts to welcome newly sponsored refugees, ensuring their inclusion, and providing access to necessary resources and services.

Jewish Vocational Services Kansas City

Jewish Vocational Service (JVS), established in 1949 to assist Holocaust survivors, refugees, and WWII returnees, has been a pillar in the Greater Kansas City metro area for over 70 years. Upholding its core value of recognizing the intrinsic worth and dignity of all, JVS has been helping individuals and families integrate socially, culturally, and economically. JVS has reached a new milestone by becoming a Private Sponsorship Organization (PSO) as a part of the Welcome Corps program, allowing JVS to assist Private Sponsorship Groups (PSG) in welcoming sponsored refugees and ensuring their successful integration.
